TRIS & Black Walnut Cafe participated in the 2022 Houston Restaurant Weeks.
Houston Restaurant Weeks (HRW) is the largest annual fundraiser for America’s largest food bank, the Houston Food Bank. The month-long charity dining event featured specially priced lunches and dinners at Greater Houston area restaurants. Black Walnut Cafe‘s all six Houston area locations; Rice Village, Vintage Park, Memorial Drive, Cinco Ranch in Katy, Conroe an The Woodlands participated the HRW for the first time this year.
TRIS Helped Generate Over 29,000 Meals During the Houston Restaurant Weeks
TRIS featured a special $55 three-course HRW dinner and a special margarita drink dedicated to the late Cleverley Stone, the founder of the Houston Restaurant Weeks. Highly popular TRIS HRW menu helped raise $11,332 – 29,714 meals for the Montgomery County Food Bank. Chef Austin Simmons presented the first check from participating restaurants to Katie Stone, president of The Cleverly Stone Foundation.
