Chef Austin was invited to spend a day at The Department of Animal Science at Texas A&M University.
To learn more about the Animal Science program at the Texas A&M University, Chef Austin Simmons visited the College Station Campus. Chef Austin met Professor Gary Smith, Professor Russell Cross and Professor Davey Griffin at the Department of Animal Science, and get a chance to learn about their research at the Rosenthal Meat Science and Technology Center.
The purpose of the Rosenthal Meat Science and Technology Center (RMSTC) is to provide a facility to conduct teaching, research, and public service activities of the Department of Animal Science. As such, it is the most comprehensive facility of its kind in the USA, devoted to the development of science and the application of that science to the solutions of problems in animal and meat science.
